Southwest Turquoise Bracelet in Silver / Gold with Rare Turquoise handmade by Wes Willie
This stunning bracelet features 14k Gold, Lone Mountain Turquoise, Bisbee Turquoise and Pixie Mine Turquoise. These mines are no longer producing.
Wes is an experience Silversmith / Lapidary.
This bracelet was in a safe here for the last 10 or 15 years. Only one (1)...
There will be no others.
Pixie is a very small mine which produced a rare lime green spider web turquoise with gold toned webbing... some of it is quite similar to Carico Lake Turquoise.
Bisbee is a very old Arizona mine that, over the years, produced both Smokey Blue and Lavender Pit Blue Turquoise. Closed.
Among the most valuable Gem Turquoise (which is only about 3% of all the turquoise to ever come out of the Lone Mountain (Nevada) and Bisbee (Arizona) Mines.
We bought it while we could. Both bisbee and Lone Mountain produced, exceptional, world class turquoise. These mines are long Closed.
We are lucky to have these gems.
Also seen here is Coral, Sugilite and 14K Gold.
*** The bracelet will fit a 6 3/4" to a 7" wrist. Because of the delicate and expensive Gemstone Inlay, its size cannot be adjusted.
It is a magnificent, one off bracelet. Bargain priced.
The bracelet is 1" wide. The Cuff's opening is 1 1/8".
The Bracelet is priced well under its retail value. It was priced when first published 10 years ago at about $4000. 10 years ago in 2015, Gold was about $1200 / ounce now it is $3400 / ounce. Silver was about $16/ ounce... now it is $34/ ounce.
Rare Gem Turquoise like this has gone up about 3 or 4 times in the past 10 years... if you can find any at all. Consider these mines now extinct.
