Collection: Coral Pendants

Native American Coral Pendants made by award winning Hopi, Navajo and Zuni silversmiths. Fine natural Coral has always been expensive. To begin with, retrieving it from the ocean floor is a dangerous and costly job. It is usually retrieved by hand. Divers carefully bring the Coral to the surface to avoid braking the branches. To produce perfect Coral pendants, any coral jewelry for that matter, requires that worm holes and imperfections be ground away. That process will turn 1/2 to 2/3 of the coral branch to dust. The remaining coral is perfect.
