Here is a beautiful Squash Blossom Silver Necklace with natural, Kingman Turquoise made by Lola Daw Yazzie.
Lola Daw is part of the legendary Yazzie family.. Do not be confused, Yazzie is a common Navajo name but this Yazzie family includes Raymond Yazzie, Lee Yazzie, Marie Lincoln Yazzie, Mary Marie Yazzie and Lola Daw Yazzie.
This Squash Blossom Necklace is among Lola Daw's most ambitious projects. The beads are all perfect and match each other exactly. The design is wonderful. Best of all it is wearable... comfortable and fashionable without being too large. I do not expect we'll see another.
Each Oval Bead measures 1/4" wide x 3/8" diameter.
The Naja is sand cast with 4 matching, Kingman Turquoise gemstones.
The necklace measures 26" long.
