Roanhorse - Gem Morenci Turquoise Bracelet
The Morenci turquoise is Gem. It is a deep sky blue with silver pyrite running through it.
The ROANHORSE hallmark belongs to Henry and Louise Roanhorse.
Barton's Hallmarks of the Southwest indicates the ROANHORSE hallmark was first use in the 1970's. Since the hallmark's edges are crisp and sharp with little use I would say this bracelet was struck with the hallmark stamp early in the hallmark's use. Circa 1975
The 18 beautiful, Morenci Turquoise Gems are set in a flawless, heavy silver bracelet... some of the gemstones have taken on a slight greenish tint, which is normal patina as some natural turquoise ages. Plastic turquoise doesn't change color.
This is a rare piece... especially in this excellent condition
