Featured here is high grade, gem, spider web, Tibetan Turquoise mined years ago in a silver bracelet. It was made by Lonnie circa year 2000.
It is tufa cast. Tufa is a sandstone from the Hopi Reservation.
The tufa cast Process... The artist's vision is carved into a special sandstone called Tufa. Both the obverse and reverse are carved into the sandstone. The two halves are wired together and molten silver is poured quickly into the mold, completely filling it. If the silver cools before the molten metal fills the entire mold, it is destroyed and the process started over.
One carved mold usually produces one molten metal pouring, successful or not... before the mold falls apart.
This bracelet measures 1 1/4" wide.
It will fit a 6" to a 6 1/4" wrist.
The bracelet can be adjusted slightly. if you have never done that please call me.
