This bolo tie was entirely handmade by Edison and carries his hallmark.  It is made from silver with substantial amounts of 14K Gold.

Both the Turquoise and Coral Settings... and the adornments around the Coral Gem are 14K gold. 

The large turquoise gem you see is quite rare, especially a gem this large. It is Red Mountain Turquoise.   Red Mountain Turquoise in many ways is simialr to Landers Blue... rare, quite beautiful, unique and expensive.

The same could be said of the large, Coral Gem. It is incredible. It reflects light like few others...  yet appears translucent, liquid... it simply glows in any light.
