Delvin Leekya Rainbow Dolomite Badger Sculpture
This is a Zuni fetish stone carving. More than that it is a work of art. A small sculpture.
It is the finest badger carving I ever saw. Perfect in every way.
It was carved in 2005 and just now being released for sale.
It is a blend of styles; Leekya Deyuse (Delvin's grandfather), Francis Leekya (Delvin's father) and of course the wonderful art of Delvin Leekya himself.
This is a large carving. I can not wrap my hand around it.
Most Leekya families' major pieces are large.
It measures about 4 1/2" and about 8" in circumference.
A stunner by any standard.
