This is an extraordinary carving. Colvin Peina passed away some time ago.
Colvin often worked in Fossil Ivory and Antler... Carvings like this are why Zuni is a recognized stone carving center of the world.
These carvings were made before computers. Colvin made these with hand files, saw blades and a large electric grinding wheel.
The Maiden's face is beautiful. The Coral and Turquoise Inlay is Gem, not treated or artificial.
